What can you expect at one of our sessions?

Based in Quedgeley, behind Quedgeley Fryer, SHARP Life & Learning Skills offers activity sessions for adults or young people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health issues or brain injury to help continue their learning. There are a range of activity sessions to suit individual needs, including the following:

  • Daily living skills
  • Preparing for work
  • Communication and social skills
  • Cookery and healthy eating
  • Understanding your rights and responsibilities
  • Personal awareness
  • Visits to places of interest
  • Safety awareness

  • Gardening
  • Recycling
  • Healthy living
  • Sport & fitness
  • Singalong, playalong
  • If there is something you want to do that is not on the list, please ask! Our sessions are
    guided by the needs of our learners.

    SHARP also offers an outreach service for individuals or groups either in their own home or a venue nearby. If you can’t get
